We had a lovely day with friends on Friday, walking in the hills near Braemar - in celebration of their 30th Wedding Anniversary. In the evening we had a fabulous meal at the Fife Arms Hotel.
Kevin was in charge of the walk. In this photo, we'd walked about 18 km and his phone battery was running out. There was also a bit of discussion about how far we still had to walk and his wife was getting anxious! However, everything was fine ... I had my phone charger with me (you can see the charging flex dangling from Kevin's pocket), and we only had 6km left to walk. :-)
Love the story and love the shot that brings it together! I can't walk that far these days with foot issues, so have to content myself with under 5 miles but love hearing about your adventures! Happy 30th anniversary to your friends.
Such a nightmare when phone battery low.....we're so dependent on them. But good you all got back safely. In years to come it will be one of these 'Remember the day....' conversations!
