Munro No. 1 Thursday by jamibann

Munro No. 1 Thursday

The first Munro we summited on Thursday was Devil's Point. This is taken from the top, around 8.30 am, overlooking Ben Bhrotain and the valley of the Dee. All in all, the walk took us 12 hours plus an hour's cycling in and out from Derry Lodge. A long day, but an excellent one. Mission accomplished and more photos to come.
What an elevation you achieved and photographed.

@sarah19 We did meet some folks, but mostly from the Aviemore side, as Braeriach (our fourth Munro) is more commonly walked from there.

Wonderful hiking weather & to climb up there & look down on that meandering river…a suitable reward for your early start & climb. Well done on that climb.
