The Granary by jamibann

The Granary

We are hopefully on the final straight with the sale of dad's house. After a couple of unforeseen hiccoughs regarding a boundary line and an Estate pre-empt, we are at last ready and able to set a completion date with dad's ever-patient buyer. We cut the grass yesterday for the last time, we think. Fingers crossed, it's been a long haul.

Fabulous news

Fingers crossed that all goes well. Such a beautiful name & iron sign...is it the name of your dad's propert?

@leggzy @maggiemae Yes, it was a derelict meal mill which dad restored himself over a period of years. It used to be called the Mill of Auchendryne when dad bought the ruin, but he renamed it as The Granary. Lots of hours of graft went into that building and it's only ever been habited by our family. A new beginning for it with a new family.
