Today's challenge was a 22km walk from Port of Ness to Tolsta - through very boggy terrain. The walk is known as the Heritage Trail. It was mixed weather, although less wind than yesterday. We were happy that we also managed to navigate the bus system, catching a bus from Stornaway up to the start point at Port of Ness, and back to Stornaway from Tolsta. Caught this beautiful rainbow in the morning as I looked back at Port of Ness.

The house on the left in the center caught my eye. It is very similar to the cover photo of a book I read called Call the Nurse: True Stories of a Country Nurse on a Scottish Isle. She was on an island in the Hebrides.
