Snow on the Distant Hills!

We had a visit from friends and former work colleagues on Friday and went walking with them as it was a lovely day. This is Joan as she came over the brow of the hill. Not a particularly high hill, Carnadrochit, but it affords lovely views over Braemar, and you can just make out a scattering of snow on the high hills in the background.

Golf Club Ladies' Section AGM later today, and I officially give up my role of Competition Secretary (thank goodness), and take over the role of Secretary - which I think and hope will less onerous!

Change of role sounds good to me and less work! What a beautiful place to walk. I never care about being "off piste" so long as I have a map and a compass and the weather isn't closing in.
