These are our most southerly Corbetts - near Moffat, in Dumfries and Galloway. There are 3 down here, so No. 1 was done yesterday (Hart Fell), No. 2 is scheduled for today (Broad Law) and No. 3 (White Coomb) will be dealt with on Sunday before we drive home. Lovely walking area here, and very different from the hills of home. Moffat itself is a beautiful wee town.
This photo was taken yesterday as we left the top of Hart-Fell and started heading over towards Saddle Yoke on the other side to complete a horseshoe walk. On the left of the photo you can see the ridge and our route down back to the car.
