What a great saying and photo! My husband, Larry, son Kevin from Socorro, and 3 of Larry's sisters and their husbands (from Denver, Milwaukee, and Ashville) were all at the Balloon Fiesta (I stayed home for Annie's Homecoming...next time). They all had a wonderful time! Fav

Thank you so much for commenting on my photo of the hot air balloons. Charlie has almost the same photo but without the post-processing treatment. We took this from our backyard deck, which is about 10 miles away from the fiesta. The dark background is not sky but the Sandia Mountains which are 10,000 feet in elevation. Our house is about 6,000 feet.

@777margo Thank you, Margo. I forgot to answer your question about how many balloons there are at the fiesta. The answer is that there are 600 each year.
