Thank you so much for your comments about my photo of Charlie and our grandson investigating a stream. We went on a hike Saturday with our son and his toddler. We had to go down a switchback trail into a canyon that had been devastated by fire a few years ago. We looked at charred ruins of buildings and landscape. We arrived at this box canyon, and our son went on ahead to check out a waterfall, but the way was too hard for the rest of us to navigate. Anyway, even though our grandson is too young to understand the environmental damage of the fire, he was old enough to know he liked the stream.
