Who Can?

We have never driven down Shafer trail. The drop offs are unnerving to Jane. It does however make a great photo from the top looking down.

Oh my God Jane. Hairy scary. What a shot. I have travelled a lot in the mountains and I am scared of heights. This shot made my stomach flop.

This is wonderful! Is it a trail or dirt road? I can see where the drop offs would be unnerving! Riding my bike where there's drop offs in Colorado National Monument, I have to talk to myself to not get nervous. :)

Thanks so much for commenting on my photo of the treacherous road into the canyon. This is at the national park where our son is a ranger, Canyonlands in Utah. People ride motorcycles, bikes, and 4-wheel drive vehicles on this road. I refuse to try it! Often I have found it difficult to show how deep a canyon is in a photograph, but the road did it for me in this shot.

@janeandcharlie Oh yeah! You showed it. As a friend of mine's child said as he drove along a vey steep cliff. Whoa daddy, Far Down daddy. Down...
