The funny thing is that this Roadrunner was sitting on top of our neighbors fire place flue and was content to let us take it's picture.

Thanks so much for your comments about my gruesome photo of the roadrunner and the lizard. It was sitting atop our nextdoor neighbor's chimney, and my camera has an incredible zoom. It stayed still for the longest time, and I think its method was to wait until the lizard is certainly dead before swallowing it as lizards are very quick critters.
