Unless someone told you, you wouldn’t know it; but behind the Stone House Museum in historic Saltsburg exists a pint-sized paradise. In celebration of the town’s roots, gardens typical of the 19th century mingle with artifacts found throughout this history-rich, former canal town.
A pea gravel path dotted with fragrant pennyroyal seedlings leads through a fernery, kitchen garden, rose garden, medicinal garden, everlastings garden, and Victorian silver garden (my personal favorite). Descriptive tags and, when luck has it, a knowledgeable gardener make visits to this tiny paradise with gargantuan charm an inspiration like no other!
Very good eye-catching close-up on this flower! The light is a strong point of your composition making a common flower a true jewel! I like the contrast with the blur! Beautifully done! Fav
