Wonderful capture. Fav! We transplanted some of a peony bush that used to be at my husband's parents house and when it blooms each year, it is a sweet remembrance of his parents.
How lovely to see Ms Ladybug have her day! I agree, they're such a pleasure to watch...not at all "bug-like"! Soon she'll have to give way for the encroaching black ants... I don't' know what it is about peonies in particular that place them in our yards, hand in hand!
