Garden Bounty

I took a walk through the sunny garden today to gather flowers for the table; and soon, colorful astilbes, yarrows, roses, coral bells, and lilies joined cranesbill, gaura, hosta, fern, catmint, spirea, and hydrangea in a water-filled mason jar. I waited patiently for this week to arrive, because I knew the thriving mid-June garden would produce beautiful, bountiful bouquets!
