Mike and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to the Wetlands! The sights and sounds we experienced have us longing to drive out there again very soon. Red-winged blackbirds hunted insects on the wing and occasionally landed in the cattails just in front of the bird blind we stood in, and croaking frogs and a myriad of blooming wildflowers flanked the path we walked on.
