A step outside always brightens my day, so I stepped out onto the porch to spend some time in the company of two big pots of yellow mums and trees ablaze. The fresh air felt good, and fall’s colorful glow bathed everything in sight. Gratitude for the impossible beauty of it all came easy, and I stared a long while before popping the camera onto the tripod.
So happy to have my 105mm lens back, repaired and good as new, I made pretty pictures of my mums. I love mums; and the fully open, half open, and still closed up tight blooms all got equal attention. While moving and bending in search of a creative point of view, I caught sight of my silly scarecrow seemingly smiling at my efforts. I chuckled and immediately heard my heart sing! Here’s to following my heart.
I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in.
