We always get a kick out of the upside-down tree in our wine glasses. Likewise, the beautiful blur of the tree viewed without our eyeglasses and the tree seen through the fun 3-D glasses we got at the Oglebay Festival of Lights give us kicks, too. We look, we laugh, and we love our tree with lights all aglow!
We sit before the tree and the fire, and we chat. We fondly recall the joy of Christmases past and eagerly anticipate the excitement of Christmases future. We thank Jesus — the greatest gift — for all the gifts He gives. Who says Christmas holds the most magic for children? We find it more and more magical the older we get as the reason for the season glows all the more bright!
