She's vaccinated, and I have one more shot to go; so today, my friend Patty came over to drop off some knitted chemo caps for I Saw a Need's upcoming deliveries and to have a porch sit — maskless! I'd made a pan of brownies and a bowl full of berries, but we didn't eat a thing. We simply sat and chatted for three hours while birds sang from the treetops between their visits to the feeder. We, God's people, are meant to be in community; and our visit felt good and normal and welcome. Lord willing, Covid cases and restrictions will continue their decline.
How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!

I had a visit from a friend this week too- and also mask free. My antibodies are up and she's vaccinated. Brownies were also on the menu with some fresh strawberries. We had some of our brownies though! I love the down-home feeling of this shot.
Me likey .... makes me wonder who the last person in the chair was, and whether they put the flowers there, or whether they were able to just enjoy them as we are.
