I love pairing quotes that hold a special place in my heart with my photographs. Much care is taken that the words and photos enjoy a complementary relationship. I hope my pairings bring you joy!
What a sweet bird, and the verse is perfect. It reminds me of a rhyme from my childhood:
The North wind doth blow and we shall have snow,
And what will poor robin do then, poor thing?
He'll sit in a barn and keep himself warm
and hide his head under his wing, poor thing.
(I know this is not a robin!)
@pej Thank you, Paul! That would be so fun to get one of them to eat from your hand. We once visited Mendon Ponds Park in Rochester, New York; and the Chickadees and Tufted Titmice there came to our hands for black oil sunflower seeds. It was a real thrill! If you're ever in that area, it's definitely worth a visit (with a pocketful of seeds). :-)
@lyndemc Thank you, Denise! I love this scripture, and I love Chickadees; so it's a special pairing for me. I'm happy that you like it. Thank you so much for the fav!
@sailingmusic I love them, too, Myrna. They're always so busy zipping to and fro! Thank you for commenting and for the fav. I appreciate your time and interest!
