Millet

Thank you, Lord, for the bit of millet to sprinkle on the side porch and the white-throated sparrows who come to enjoy it.

I love to sprinkle a few handfuls of millet on the side porch on cold, snowy days like today. The white-throated sparrows always come to dine, and the nearby honeysuckle vines offer them plenty of places to weather a storm.
