Our hemlocks delight us year-round; but in Winter, most of all!
This week's 52-Week Challenge is to shoot in full manual mode. I always do that, so I added the extra challenge of shooting with my macro lens. I often struggle with macro's tiny sliver of focus, and today was no exception; but I enjoyed the practice and paying close attention to the effects of various f-stops. Even with using Live View, I didn't capture what I'd envisioned; but the image still conveys the frosty hemlocks I'm enjoying this morning, so into my project it goes!
