Mike and I headed up Interstate 79 for a look at the many watery landscapes where migrating waterfowl gather in Spring. Temperatures in the twenties climbing to temperatures in the fifties made for a very pleasant day outdoors.
Lake Arthur deceived us. What initially looked like open water proved to be frozen solid for the most part. Nevertheless, this beautiful lake in Moraine State Park shimmered in the sunshine; and what fun we had seeing who could get a tossed pebble to slide furthest along the ice. Mike-5. Jan-1.
