Thank you, Lord, for the Robin tapping on the sunroom window — signaling Spring!
I don't mind the mess the American Robin makes as it taps at its reflection in the big sunroom window. The tapping will stop once this bird realizes that the bird it sees in the glass is not intruding upon its territory, and then the window will be cleaned. These territorial defenses signal Spring, and the sights and sounds of the many Robins that return to our hill to nest bring me great joy!
