Thank you, Lord, for the shady break we took from our bike ride alongside the Allegheny River.
The rain held off after church, so we headed to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a Sunday afternoon bike ride. While we took a short break on a shady bench beneath these trees, we gazed in awe of our beautiful city. Severe-and-I-mean-severe storms blew in shortly after we got back home, but not until after we enjoyed a pasta with fresh basil pesto dinner at the front porch bistro table. Still reeling from the loss of our precious Marley, we needed a pleasant day. Thank you, Lord, indeed!
Those yellow/gold bridges in Pittsburgh are so cool. I have several shots of them from our two visits there, and recognized them right away in your two images. Cool.
