On the way home from dinner out last night, Mike and I spent some time reminiscing about a magical night almost twenty years ago. We stood on the balcony of a room at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas with kids somewhere around ages 13 and 10, all of us enjoying our family vacation. I showed the kids how to draw a heart with the moon and an open shutter. What fun we had!
This heart's no moon. It's the lamppost in our driveway, but what love and laughter Mike and I shared while recalling that special night long ago and trying to recall that technique I haven't used since then. Of course, I added the message later; and this is dedicated to my wonderful husband and our amazing journey through life together.
