Elderflower Cordial by janetb

Elderflower Cordial

With our elderberry in full, beautiful bloom at the moment, making an elderflower cordial seemed the right thing to do. It made a refreshing treat mixed with a bit of cold sparkling water, and we carried these cups to the front porch for a little afternoon break rocking side by side.

I praise you, Lord, for the sweet flavor of freshly made elderflower cordial and all of the good things the garden has to offer.
Hello Janet! Greetings from the deep South, USA! I've seen your photos come up now and again while "browsing" 365 and always enjoyed and appreciated your photos. The photo above drew me to explore your project and I noted your "calling" to return this year. I agree that God has led me to this project and blessed me with the folks I have met and especially the images of His Creation in the photos. I'd like to follow your project for a while and enjoy God's Creation in Pennsylvania!

I can never hear of elderberry wine without thinking about "Arsenic and Old Lace!"

Gorgeous focus on the subject of your photograph and lovely bokeh throughout the rest of the image.

such a peaceful feel about this image and your description. Your place sounds like a haven... being transported to another world. I'm really enjoying the composition and the object shapes in this image.
