Frost On The Berries by janetb

Frost On The Berries

I went out to take a look at which birdfeeders needed filling; and while opening the gate, I caught sight of these frosty honeysuckle berries. I love our honeysuckle vines chaotically climbing on either side of the gate. Their tender green springtime sprouts give way to summer's fragrant flowers followed by fall's frosty purple-black berries, and birds find safe shelter among the tangled vines on snowy winter days. Did I say I love our honeysuckle vines? I really do!

I praise you, Lord, for the year-round interest our honeysuckle vines provide.
This is beautiful! Fav

I didn't know honeysuckle would have berries - nice focus on that frost.
