How did she know? I'd longed for an amaryllis bulb kit for a few years now; and somehow my sweet friend Connie showed up with one, a hostess gift given to me at our annual Christmas party. I planted it with high hopes and popped the pot onto the sunroom floor. Today, I went in to give the bulb a drink and saw the swellling! I'd planned to photograph the bulb growth or no growth, but seeing growth made the idea all the more fun. What promise that thickening middle holds!
I praise you, Lord, for the growth of my amaryllis bulb — and for the sunshine you brought about just at the right moment.
