Fireside Reading

A little fireside reading on a Friday afternoon in the middle of January? Yes, and I'm thankful for it.

I praise you, Lord, for the old, well-worn book; the cozy fire; the hot cup of tea; and the time to relax a bit with Gracie resting nearby.

I love how the book truly reflects the words it holds - 'Best Loved'. It is obvious that this worn book has a special place in your heart and is 'best loved' and enjoyed. The book mark just adds to the depth of the photo. A lovely photo, with gorgeous colour and composition.

@bjywamer Hi, Barb...how wonderful that you wrote some faith-based poems!! This book was written in 1933, and you might really like it. I Googled the title and see that it is available online. I picked up my copy years ago at an antique book store. Thank you for your interest in my project...I so appreciate your encouragement!
