High School by janetb

High School

Continuing on with my spring cleaning, today I tackled the pantry; and choosing what to photograph in there came easy. Shelves line the walls and hold a wide variety of items — food, bakeware, storage containers, candles, pitchers, cleaning products, camera equipment, light bulbs, and much more. On the shelf holding my collection of vases, among all of the sparkling glass designs, sits this one — my favorite. Sarah made it in a high school pottery class; and when I hold it, I imagine her hands forming it, glazing it, carrying it proudly home. I remember walking through the garden with her a few years back as she snipped a colorful bouquet of flowers for this vase, and what a beautiful centerpiece we had at dinner that night. Beautiful, like her. ♥

I praise you, Lord, for beautiful memories of my beautiful daughter.
It is a vase with much character and quite apart from the associations not hard to see why you like it. Lovely memories described in your narrative.
