This interesting piece of brass sits outside a lovely library in Puyallup, the nearest major town to us (pronounced PEW-AH-LUP).

@sansjuan @andrina - Thanks - yes - it's very unusual and it does look as if it's coming out of the wall. It was very windy and chilly today - I will go back and take more pics of some of the other artwork around the library.

I wanted to blur the background but was having trouble with this because of the similar tones in color between the wall and the artwork. I gave up because the only way to achieve this was to stand in the parking lot and there were lots of cars in and out. I decided I liked it well enough as is. :-)
