Well, I am back, I think!
I am SO behind - it's been a crazy month with the wedding, houseguests, quilt retreat, and day to day life.
Tonight after work we drove up to Mt Rainier to catch the sunset. My hubby wasn't up to much of a hike so we didn't go far. I got a few shots of Mt Rainier and the wildflowers, though. Taken with my kit lens.
We were gone longer than we thought and stopped at the Longmire Inn for dinner but they had stopped serving. The host offered to seat us in the guest lounge and bring us clam chowder and salad. We were so grateful. A nice way to gear up for the drive home.
I was extremely happy to discover this was on the Top 20 for week 166. Thanks for all the lovely comments and favs - my first time to have a pic on TT so I was pretty psyched! http://365project.org/blog/official-top-20-chart-week-166

Thanks Maggiemae! I am whupped - LOL - but I am about to go to bed and for the first time in a month I don't have to get up to the alarm in the morning. Thanks for the lovey comments. I love it up there - even though we go often, this summer we have missed our sunset hikes. First time I have ever been up at sunset and not seen deer or marmots.
You are right ... it is a fairland! Love this capture...it is beautiful and makes me determined to get up there...hopefully soon. FAV . It is a delightful and lovely image!!

Another wonderful capture of this beautiful scene. I love those wild flowers in the foreground, the light and just everything. Congrats on PP and another big fat FAV!
