dahlias have got to be one of my favourite plants in the garden. I tend to go for the brightly coloured ones, but this pale one is so beautiful this year. They are so easy to grow so long as you can keep the slugs at bay and just as everything is begining to fade they spring into colourful life. I buy the corms from a local market where they cost about £1 each and give colour and beauty year after year.
