I think I prefer taking pictures of young brownish swans to their pure white elders. Not quite as sharp as I would have liked, but I like the muted colours
great shot, I love how you captured the flow of movement.

The feathers look so fluffy and clear in this picture - do these actually turn white? They are so big already!

@dh Marmalade? Did I make marmalade? Oh yes, it is all coming back to me now. I must have pushed the memories out of my mind. Yes I finished thanks. Pretty successful result, so the cupboards are now 20lb of marmalade heavier.

@maggiemae Yes maggiemae, they are brown for at least the first year even tho they are fully grown after a few months. These ones are still with their parents (who pair for life) but they will be booted out soon when the breeding season starts

The water in this is magic, you can really see how fast it is moving. love the black beak!!. well done.
