unfortunately typing that title has got me singing 'Agadoo' inside my head, which anybody who knows the song will realise is not a good thing.
this looks best viewed large on a a black background.
Another shot taken a few days ago because it is so damn cold outside I can't summon up any enthusiasm to go out. Should a totally unlikely and unexpected mini heatwave occur in the next four hours I might move this to the my other album. This was a bit of a tricky one to edit because there aren't really any horizontal or vertical lines in it so however many times I tried to straighten it it kept looking wrong.
Up bright and early and full optimism and excitement about the (re-) scheduled BT engineer's visit which, although I asked for an afternoon appointment, was arranged for between 8am and 1pm.
Anyway, he came around at about 8.30, and again not surprisingly, found no faults with our line, but couldn't do anything about the broadband speeds. His only advice was to call BT because for some reason our line has been limited to a slower speed than the neighbours'.
If my memory serves me well, I think I have already spent several hours talking to BT about the problem. Now at the "I give up" stage, and still crossing my fingers that the signal from the wireless broadband company I called the other day will be able to reach us.
On a positive note, Jack the donk's eye seems much better than it was yesterday, so it doesn't look like I will have to call the vet out.
Of to takes some boxes to the tip now.
Three good things:
Jack's eye is looking better
Graham has got the day off work tomorrow
Ludovico Einaudi and Milton Jones both on breakfast TV this morning. One a composer, the other a comedien and both amongst my favourites at what they do.
Well thanks for Agadoo!! Fab variety in the trees. What about Virgin?! In fact if there are any alternatives you might find getting connected to the 'I am thinking of leaving' line gets you some progress. If it doesn't warm up soon I'm emigrating.
@judithg Sorry about the song. The trouble is that whichever service provider you use they all use the BT lines to the house. The only other options are wireless or satellite from what I can gather. I am definitely going to use the I'm off option when I finally muster up the willpower to do battle with them again.
Beautiful shot of this sunset...the trees make this shot special!! A pain about your broadband, so hard to get things sorted. I am having problems with Sky, the signal keeps going & the price we pay it's not good enough! Will have to syke myself up again tomorrow to get it sorted again!
wow ... this is a beautiful image . Love it . You have some beautiful photos in ur photostream . I dont have the time to have a good look but when i do im going to have a stickybeck . Nice work .
