This is my favourite of the village allotments. It belongs to Steve and he and his family are almost self-sufficient in vegetables with what he produces.
Quite a busy day in a mundane kind of way. It is our wedding anniversary and we are off out to a party in the village this evening - in fact in about half an hour's time, so I had better go and get ready - going to be late again!
I think it is the way you have processed this that makes it particularly appealing - you have brought out the tones and the textures very nicely. I particularly like the rusty barrow. Have fun.
As Linda says, the scene really comes alive with your great processing. I really like how you have made an ordinary view into something special. Great for the theme.
hope you have a lovely time. Nice composition. I've just eaten home grown potatoes and courgettes for my dinner tonight. You can't beat growing veg yourself
Happy anniversary and if you're not in the theme final I'm going on strike. Forgot to say my onions are a lot smaller than yours - maybe I should thin them out a bit belatedly?
Wonderful shot - perfect for the theme! Happy Anniversary - hope you had a lovely time! We have been celebrating my brother's 25th Wedding Anniversary this weekend too! : ) fav
p.s. Was I imagining things or did you have a lovely chicken shot on here earlier??
Matching wheel barrows, I wonder who has the rusty one!
Summer at its finest

I love this shot. Your processing gives it a sort of dreamy feel.
