you scratch my back......... by jantan

you scratch my back.........

I rescued this dragonfly from the water feature just outside our kitchen yesterday. It had got itself tangled up in some blanketweed so I pulled it out and removed the weed from its legs. While it dried out it repaid me by allowing me to take a few photos.

Angus went with some friends to see Joe Bonamassa at the NIA in Birmingham last night. The end of another era. Until now he has been my 'gig buddy' and I have dragged him along to see all sorts of random stuff. Sounds like he had a great time. I do love seeing them becoming more independent.
Great detail and colours Jan!

Lovely shot, so kind of you. I freed a butterfly from entanglement the other day, I too am a bit on the soft side. Wonder if dragon flies hibernate?
