Hello old friends (I think there are still a few of you around!)
I have been thinking of starting to upload to this project again for some time. I had thought that I would wait until January to do so, but this is such a wonderful time of year for photography that it would be a shame to miss it.
This shot was taken on the way home from dropping my son off at his school bus stop this morning. I have missed a couple of opportunities to take this view in misty early morning sunlight in the past few weeks, so was very pleased that I remembered to take my camera and had a bit of time to stop today.
I look forward to trying to catch up with some of your work soon.
I've been wondering where you were Jan, especially when I saw Pam's post of donkeys just now, I'm glad you are back. I love how you capture mist, I need lessons on that, ..I think I also might have to get up early, hm that would be the tricky bit.
@padlock glad to see you're still around. When I was last here I thought you were stepping back a bit. AOK here although the menagerie has grown (supposedly temporarily! ) again. Hope you and yours are all well :0)
Thx so much for the photos and the stories! Always seems like such a better place than where I live: suburban Chicago....no donkeys, rolling hills or quaint pubs!
hey Jan, what an excellent surprise! you're back! and the perfect reason why anybody should ever stop following someone who doesn't upload for a long time!
Golden light. Welcome back Jan.
