Colour Received...

i am reading a book called "Eyes of the Heart" that suggests instead of 'taking' or 'shooting' photos we practice 'receiving' images as gifts.

Interesting thought. Indeed they are all gifts really. It is probably what keeps me at my screen in the wee hours of the morning; marvelling at what the camera sensor has captured and recorded for me me to treasure.
Love the colours and the softness in this. It is really quite incredible on black - I would encourage everyone to take a look on black.

Yes, that is a fantastic book. It is something very counter cultural as I find so often when leading Contemplative Camera Prayer retreats. It looks like you received a truly beautiful image today. Thanks for sharing it.
