Egg Cup

When I was little, one of my favorite breakfasts was when mom would make me a soft-boiled egg, with a little bit of salt and butter on the top (it was always butter as she was from Minnesota so no margarine!). Today I had a yen for a soft-boiled egg and served it up in one of our 'chick" egg cups (which is actually my wife's grandmother's egg cup). It brings back memories of simpler quietly intimate and less hurried mornings.

What lovely childhood memories Jay, I too fondly remember having boiled eggs with my Grannie and she had chicken egg cups!
