The birds are out in force since the recent tree trimming knocked all sorts of good seed and pods to the ground making them easily accessible to all. Mostly the sparrows and robins come but this guy came down from his usual high perch and sat on my plumeria pot (the plumeria is making a valiant effort to keep its leaves this winter) and surveyed the feeding frenze.
The weather continues to be unseasonably warm in the days (although chilly at night) but thankfully from what I hear were are one of the few spots in the US not touched by snow ice and fog this Christmas. The birds appreciate it.
