Wednesday Bloody Wednesday

Ok I am ending B&W January one day early in order to display my entry for the super blue blood moon eclipse. Not as sharp as I would like it (taken with the Canon kiut lens at 135mm 1/5 sec f5.6 the maximum at this focal lenght and ISO 2500) but still pleasing. The sky was clear and morning not too cold. A sight to behold.

The month has been interesting shooting only B&W -- not exactly what I thought as I found it difficult to concentrate on tonal quality and contrast but I got some nice shots that helped me see beyond the color. Maybe I'll try something different in February.

Nice Blood Moon. You got a good one! I'm jealous. Flash of Red February is optional, of course. You just did it a month earlier than usual. :-)
