Trompe L'oeil Cafe

Mural on the side of Miceli's restaurant on Ventura Blvd. Miceli's is one of LA's oldest Italian restaurants founded in 1949.

"Trompe l'oeil" is a visual illusion in art, especially as used to trick the eye into perceiving a painted detail as a three-dimensional object.
