I've always been interested in photography since getting my first camera a Kodak Tele-Instamatic with the Flip Flash yearrrrssss ago. So now that I'm...
Well I was close..lol “ Cape gooseberry and tomatillo are in the same plant genus. Cape gooseberry (Physalis peruviana), also known as ground cherry, produces small, sweet fruit inside papery husks. Tomatillo (Physalis ixocarpa), also called husk tomato, produces similar but larger fruit that is a staple in Mexican cooking.”

Thank you Geej, Kathy and BeckyJo. They tasted good too! Still have the pomegranate though, haven’t cut into that one yet.

You're probably right about that Peter. I guess I should have just said colorful fruits. These must all be imported from a warmer climate. 😊
Thank you!
Thanks Hope. Do you know what those little tiny things are? They have papery green leaves surrounding a little orange fruit.
Actually they are Cape Gooseberry. They are a tiny little tangy fruit with many tiny edible seeds inside. Looked it up tonight.
Yes indeed you were!!!
That’a cute!
