They call this the bread hook attachment for my mixer... Honestly I may have used it once. I’m more a cookie and cake baker. :)

Such a great POV. I used my hook attachment on my KitchenAid for the first time today after having it for years. I made doughnut mixture. It has to chill overnight, so I will see how good it worked tomorrow, when I actually cook the doughnuts.

There's times that I'm mixing something that takes some real arm effort and I find myself thinking "I should've let the stand mixer do this work." At that point tho, it's just too late to get it out.
