Deer Mountain Summit

Yesterday we hiked in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. We reached this summit on Deer Mountain after a 3 mile hike up which was described as"moderate". It was tougher than I thought but my husband kept me going and we finally made it. It was worth it.

I LOVE THIS VIEW!! I've stood on this very spot myself and gazed out over this amazing valley. Estes Park, the RMNP: absolute favorite places. ENJOY your visit. (I envy you.)

@lyndemc OH wow that's nice to know. It was our first time in RMNP but we will go back another time. I wanted to give up 1/2 way through glad I didn't turn back. Another hike today in Eldorado Canyon State Park in Boulder. 🙂
