Apfel Kuchen

Our older daughter came over to spend some time today and she brought this Apfel Kuchen. She makes it for my husband because he really likes it (I really do too). Noticed the circle shape and so I’m using it for the Oct20words shape.

Quite detailed in its design on top. It appears the apple slices could be lying vertically inside, giving the interesting pattern through the cut outs. Looks very tasty and tempting.
