Pérgola fotovoltaica / Photovoltaic pergola

You can find this on Barcelona's Fòrum and is made up of 3,780 square metres of solar panels. The amount of power generated is equivalent to that needed by 1,000 homes and it avoids the production of 440 tonnes of CO₂ every year.
Fascinating composition and perspective of a great project. The presence of the people is a great bonus. FAV

Now this is very cool, almost a mind boggling image. Perfect with the people to add a sense of scale. Fav

Wonderful perspective and POV, great building for the solar energy and great commentary too!

i like how culturally relevant your pictures tend to be...historical and human and meaningful. your taste for expansive scenes usually plays right into that, and you dont tend to ignore any element in the frame. here, i like the small figures best...overshadowed in some ways by the monstrous architecture, but clearly the means/ends of the whole picture and structure. opportune lighting situation, as well.

@ubiquitybutsomewhatdownsized thank you again for your enlightening comments. As I often walk with a mirrorless camera without the viewfinder of a slr, and using a similar technic in street photography, I usually only use lcd to frame, then I see with naked eyes the entire scene and shot when I think that everything is in the right place ;) ... Sometimes win, sometimes not.
