On the day of the Epiphany families join to celebrate together this day, opening and enjoying the gifts that their majesties have drop last night. It is tipical to share Three Kings Cake that also is filled with little presents. On of these is a bean. The owner of the slice that has the bean "must pay" the cake next year...
I've been interested in photography since time ago. I like street photography, airplane photography, candid and many other.

We have 'gallete des rois', a different cake but the same story, and usually these days with a plastic token hidden, though formerly a coin instead of a bean. Your cake is more colourful, which you have captured very nicely.
@cmp thank you very much @laroque thank you I think that this kind if tradition it is done on many countries @joansmor thank you very much @yaorenliu when they are baking the cake, they put little gift inside, mainly three little figures of the three kings and the bean, as part of the interior fill of the cake
That looks very delicious. Love these old traditions; unfortunately many are forgotten as time goes by. I hope this won't. Up to some years ago Epiphany was a public holiday for us Maltese to celebrate - nowadays it's just a day like many others.
@pennystot thank you very mch for your kind and superlative comment @sangwann it is a pity to hear that. I hope your goverment changed the festivity day. @annied thank you very much
