Temple of Augustus

These columns, guarded inside a building of the Gothic Quarter, are the remains of a Roman temple dedicated to Emperor Augustus in the Roman city of Barcino. The three left columns were found in the nineteenth century. The right one, was exposed in the Plaça del Rei for a while, then it was rebuilt by students of the vocational school and moved to its current location.
