The larger beagle barked as I took the next shot but I thought they were cuter in this one. I tried a few options for framing. This puts the dogs right in the center. I think the brass doorknob and the ball at the top of the railing complement each other. This is a couple doors down from my townhouse. I was surprised the door was open and the dogs were out to greet me so early in the morning.
